A man has died after being found lying outside a multi-storey block of flats in Aberdeen.

He died near Morven Court in the Torry area at 1.45pm on Tuesday despite the efforts of paramedics.

The man’s death is being treated as unexplained but there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Officers were called to outside Morven Court on Tuesday following concern for a man.

“Despite efforts by paramedics the man was pronounced dead at the scene. The death is currently being treated as unexplained.

“As with all sudden deaths, a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
