More than 100 workers evacuated from North Sea oil platform
Talisman staff flown to nearby Fulmar platform after the power went out on Clyde.
More than 100 workers have been evacuated from an oil platform in the North Sea due to a power cut.
The outage happened on the Clyde on Tuesday and it is understood 103 workers from a total staff of 178 were flown to the nearby Fulmar platform.
A spokesman for Talisman Sinopec Energy UK, which operates the Clyde platform, said: "We initiated a precautionary downman of non-essential personnel from the Clyde platform following loss of power at approximately 3pm on Tuesday, February 16.
"An investigation is under way and work is being carried out to re-establish power."
