Kayaker who died after getting into trouble during flooding named
The body of Laurence Henderson from Aberdeenshire was found in the River Findhorn.
A man who died after getting into trouble while kayaking during flooding has been named.
Laurence Henderson was navigating the River Findhorn during bad weather caused by Storm Frank on Wednesday.
Emergency services were called to the river in Moray shortly after 12.30pm.
Officers later discovered him and recovered his body him from the river.
He was identified as the 54-year-old from Aberdeenshire.
A report regarding the death has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.
