A woman was assaulted in a property in Moray on Monday night.

Police are appealing for witnesses or any information for two men in the area after the woman was attacked in North Port, Elgin.

Temporary Detective Inspector Susan Lawson said: "The woman didn't require hospital treatment but has understandably been left extremely upset by the incident and we are appealing to anyone who may have seen two men in the area between around 9pm and 10.30pm on Monday."

The men are believed to be in their 30s and around 5ft 6in tall.

One is described as slim and the other as being of a larger build.

They both wore dark trousers and one had a royal blue-coloured top.

Officers urged anyone with information to contact police on 101.
