Man dies after being hit by car near petrol station

A pedestrian who was hit by a car near a petrol station has died.
Martin Gray was struck by a silver Mini Cooper on the A970 near Leask's filling station in Lerwick, Shetland, at 11.20am on Tuesday, January 16.
The 59-year-old was taken to Gilbert Bain Hospital in the area before being airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where he died on Saturday.
