Two motorcyclists injured in collision with Porsche
The women, aged 22 and 23, were taken to hospital in Stornoway, Lewis.
Two women have been injured in a collision in the north west Highlands.
The pair were riding motorbikes on the A837 north of Ledmore Junction where they were involved in a crash with a red Porsche 911 around 4.40pm on Wednesday.
Emergency services were called to the scene and the women, aged 22 and 23, were airlifted to the Western Isles Hospital in Stornoway.
The 23-year-old has since been transferred to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Glasgow for treatment to serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Police said a 47-year-old man will be reported to the procurator fiscal in connection with the incident.
Sergeant Donnie Mackinnon, of the road policing unit, said: "Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing for witnesses to the collision to contact us as soon as possible."
Anyone with information or anyone who saw the vehicles prior to the crash is asked to call police on 101.
