Arrest after woman 'stabbed' at house in Inverness
A 23-year-old woman is due to appear in court following the disturbance in Suilven Way.
A woman has been arrested following an alleged stabbing at a house in Inverness.
Police were called to reports of a disturbance on Suilven Way at 5.10am on Sunday.
A 57-year-old woman suffered serious injuries during the incident and was taken to Raigmore Hospital. STV News understands she had been stabbed.
Officers said a 23-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the incident.
A police spokeswoman said on Monday: "Police were called to a residential property in the Suilven Way area of Inverness on Sunday, June 18, at around 5:10am following reports of a disturbance.
"A 23-year-old woman has been charged in relation to the incident and is expected to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court today.
"A 30-year-old woman was taken to Raigmore Hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries."
