Police are concerned for the welfare of a woman who has been missing from Inverness for two days.

Heather Doull, 40, was last seen on Monday afternoon between 2.30pm and 3pm on Leachkin Road but has not been seen or heard from since.

She is described as around 5ft 2in with blue eyes and long light-brown straight hair.

Ms Doull was last seen wearing a purple top, a black jacket with a hood and black leggings.

Sergeant Paul MacLaren said: "We are concerned for Heather's welfare and would like to confirm she is safe.

"Anyone who remembers seeing Heather since Monday afternoon or who knows where she is, is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101."
