A woman has been rescued after falling 100ft from a Highland Munro.
The Stornoway Coastguard helicopter was training near Loch Ness when it was diverted to the incident on Mullach Fraoch-choire on Thursday afternoon.
The woman had fallen down what her rescuers described as a "dangerous cliff" and was perched on the edge of a 400ft drop.
Her husband and an off-duty doctor who witnessed the fall went to the woman's aid and stayed with her until the helicopter arrived.
It airlifted the woman off the north-west Highland Munro and took her to Belford Hospital in Fort William, where she is now recovering.
On Friday, the Stornoway helicopter was sent to Skye after a woman fell following a medical incident. She was flown to Broadford Hospital on Skye.
