The Night Manager has scored four nominations for the 74th Golden Globe Awards, as a host of British exports and talent also get nods.

Skyfall star Naomie Harris received a nod for best supporting actress for her role as a crack addict in Moonlight.

Claire Foy is nominated for best actress in a television drama series for her portrayal of the Queen in The Crown.

'La La Land' leads the film nominations with seven including best picture, comedy or musical and nod for lead actors Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling.

Barry Jenkins' celebrated coming-of-age drama Moonlight received six nominations.

Meryl Streep, who will receive the Cecil B DeMille Award for career achievement, received her 30th nod for best actress in a musical or comedy film for Florence Foster Jenkins.

Mel Gibson is nominated for best director for Hacksaw Ridge.

The film was the Braveheart star's return to directing for the first time in 10 years following his controversial anti-Semitic rant after a drink-driving arrest.

The nominees were revealed by Hollywood stars Don Cheadle, Anna Kendrick and Laura Dern at Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles

The winners will be announced on January 8 in Los Angeles in a ceremony hosted by Jimmy Fallon.
