X Factor stage invaders 'pretended to be disabled'
Honey G was visibly shaken when a man ran on stage as she waited for the judges' feedback.
Honey G has said a group who tried to invade the X Factor stage on Saturday night "got in because they pretended to be disabled".
The controversial contestant, who was booted off the show on Sunday, was visibly shaken as one man ran on as she waited for the judges' feedback.
The man, dressed in a baseball cap, ran up behind her, grabbed her shoulders and tried to take her microphone.
But it was later revealed five people had been involved in the incident.
Speaking to ITV's Lorraine, Honey said: "We were told they pretended to be disabled to get into the building."
The invasion led to the judges jumping up from their seats and Simon Cowell going over to Honey to check she was OK.
A group of online pranksters called Trollstation later took credit for the stunt.
Their YouTube channel describes them as "a collective of social misfits playing mad mind games on the public."
Founding member Daniel Jarvis, from Gravesend, was jailed in May for a July 2015 stunt gone wrong after carrying out a fake heist at the National Portrait Gallery.
The group then moved on to Tate Britain to stage a fake robbery and kidnapping, causing chaos in the process.
Jarvis also has a previous conviction for a pitch invasion at a Tottenham Hotspur and Partizan Belgrade match in 2014
