The first full trailer for the Disney remake of Beauty and the Best has arrived.

The clip reveals Emma Watson as Belle alongside our first sneak peak at Dan Stevens' CGI Beast in action.

The film is directed by Bill Condon - who also was responsible for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.

The film - which has been in production since 2014 - doesn't appear to stray too far from the original in the first look at the trailer.

It shows the iconic scenes Disney fans will recognise from the 1991 animation - the wolf attack, the granting of Belle's library, falling in love in the snow, Belle finding the rose, and the ballroom scene.

It is going to be released in the US on 17 March 2017.
