Mark Zuckerberg's Twitter and Pinterest accounts 'hacked'
The Facebook co-founder's accounts appeared to have been compromised by hackers Ourmine.
Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg's social media accounts appeared to have been briefly hacked on Sunday.
The internet entrepreneur's accounts on sites including Twitter, LinkedIn and Pinterest fell victim to an online hacker group called Ourmine, which claimed responsibility for the breach.
The group tweeted the following message to Zuckerberg: "Hey @finkd we got access to your Twitter & Instagram & Pinterest, we are just testing your security, please dm us."
The tweets from the account, which has over 40,000 followers, have since been deleted. Zuckerberg has not sent a tweet from his own account since 2012.
It has not been possible to verify whether Zuckerberg's account on Instagram, which is owned by Facebook, was hacked.
Zuckerberg has posted just 30 images on the account, which has more than 600,000 followers.
