Viz comic has its Facebook page taken down over 'breach of terms'
The comic Viz has had its Facebook page blocked by the social network, the magazine has said.
The satirical comic Viz has had its company page blocked by Facebook.
The magazine tweeted a message from Facebook that claimed the page been "unpublished" after it apparently failed to adhere to the site's terms and community standards.
Viz was founded nearly 40 years and is famous for its risque content and parodies of other comics like the Beano and The Dandy.
Speaking to The Guardian, the publishing company that owns the magazine say they are in the dark about why the page was taken down.
Facebook is able to remove content if it's reported as 'unsuitable' by users but has now decided to reinstate the page following an investigation.
The magazine posted a further tweet this afternoon confirming that they were back on the site, but added that they wouldn't be changing their ways.
