University student killed in crash on private estate
The circumstances surrounding the death of Sam Younger, 22, are being investigated.
An Edinburgh University student has died after a crash in Stirlingshire.
Sam Younger, 22, was killed in the incident involving a vehicle on a private estate on Saturday.
His family have released a picture to "remember and celebrate their wonderful son".
Police said the death was being treated as unexplained, but added that there did not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.
A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.
In a statement, Police Scotland said: "We can confirm that Sam Younger, a 22-year-old student from Edinburgh University, has died following an accident involving a motor vehicle on a private estate in Stirlingshire on Saturday, March 30, 2019.
"The death is being treated as unexplained, however there does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course, as is standard procedure."
