A car crashed into a pub, forcing a road to be closed.

The incident happened outside the Gray's Mill on Slateford Road in Edinburgh.

Officers closed the road at Hermand Terrace following the smash at 10.45pm on Tuesday.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "The car crashed into the front of the pub.

"No one was injured and no arrests have been made."
