Take in the holiday atmosphere in the Grassmarket this winter with a good book and a hot drink as Central Library and local participating bookstores hand out vouchers with every purchase which can be exchanged in a selection of cafes in the greater Grassmarket area for a free hot drink.

Arabian Nights: Royal Lyceum Theatre

The Lyceum Christmas show is always a lavish affair and this time it's a clutch of stories, featuring the familiar faces of Aladdin, Sinbad and Ali Baba, along with mysterious genies, magic carpets, talking birds and a whole host of heroes and villains.
