There have been no reports of illness after Food Standards Scotland recalled a number of products by Macsween of Edinburgh.

More than a dozen different haggis and black pudding products were pulled from shelves on Friday evening after it was discovered the firm had inadequate procedures to control Clostridium botulinum.

No traces of the bacteria were found in the products but the measures were taken as a precaution.

Marks and Spencer products have also been affected - including haggis, black pudding and white pudding.

Donald and Sons haggis and black pudding, which is stocked by Lidl supermarket, has also been recalled.

All Warren and Sons haggis, which is also sold in Lidl, has been withdrawn.
