Provost offers condolences to London after Finsbury attack

Edinburgh's lord provost has sent condolences to Mayor of London following an terrorist attack at a north London mosque.
One man was killed and ten people were injured after a van was driven into a crowd of worshippers leaving Finsbury Mosque in north London at around 12.20am on Monday morning.
Lord provost Frank Ross said: "It is with a heavy heart that I find myself once again extending sincere condolences on behalf of the people of Edinburgh to the people of London.
"Last night's tragic attack on worshippers at a Finsbury Park mosque was a cowardly and shocking act which police have described as an 'attack on London'.
"Although Londoners have been truly tested these past few weeks and months, they have proved time and again that their strong sense of community and resilient spirit are an inspiring example to us all."
