The Tomb: Ancient Egyptian Burial: National Museum of Scotland, Chambers Street, Edinburgh

An Egyptian tomb dating from around 1290BC was looted and reused many times before being excavated in 1857, providing an insight into changing burial rituals.

This free exhibition comes ahead of the Ancient Egypt Gallery, opening next year.
