Mother of missing Fife RAF serviceman 'falling apart'
Search for the missing airman has been extended into an 11th week.
The mother of a missing Fife airman says she is falling apart as police continue to search a landfill site for his body.
Corrie McKeague, from Dunfermline, vanished after a night out with friends on September 24 last year in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
It had been hoped his remains would be discovered at a rubbish tip in Milton, Cambridge.
After weeks of searching, his mother Nicola says it is increasingly unlikely he will be found.
Earlier this week, officers extended the search for the airman's body by a further week.
Officers have searched through 3000 tonnes of rubbish with the cost of the investigation now topping £1m.
