A car ended up on top of another vehicle in a train station car park.

The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon in Kirkcaldy in Fife.

Images shared on social media showed a silver Mazda perched on the bonnet of a white Volkswagen Golf.

Police were alerted to the incident but said there were no injuries and an investigation is under way.

The force said it is not known how the Mazda ended up on top of the Volkswagen.
