Teenager charged with 43 vandalism incidents in Edinburgh
An 18-year-old man has been arrested over an alleged spree that includes damage to cars.
An 18-year-old man has appeared in court accused of carrying out a vandalism spree in Edinburgh.
Police said he was arrested in relation to 43 separate incidents of vandalism in the capital.
The alleged incidents include damage to a number of cars overnight between November 13 and 14.
He has also been charged with offences relating to motorcycle crime and housebreaking.
The teenager appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday and was remanded in custody.
Chief inspector Jimmy Jones said: "I would ask anyone with information regarding antisocial behaviour in their area to get in touch with us.
"Information can be shared anonymously and will be handled in the strictest confidence."
