Teenage girl's disappearance sparks urgent police appeal
Lavina Rose Devine, 14, from Moredun, Edinburgh, has not been seen for four days.
A 14-year-old girl has been reported missing from her Edinburgh home, prompting a police appeal.
Lavina Rose Devine was last seen on Willowbrae Road at around 9pm on Wednesday.
Officers say they are "increasingly concerned" for Lavina, who is from the Moredun area of the city.
The teenager is white with a slim build, around 5ft 7in in height, with shoulder length brown hair, blue eyes, and a fair complexion.
She also has a tattoo on the back of her neck saying "DAD".
She is believed to have wearing a black coat with a fur hood.
Police Sergeant Kuong Lam of Howdenhall Police Station said: "Lavina has now not be seen since Wednesday, December 14, and we eager to establish her whereabouts as soon as possible.
"If you have seen Lavina, or recognise her description, I would ask that you get in touch with police immediately."
