Firefighters battle blaze at town centre restaurant
Fire broke out in utility area of The Livingroom at Livingston's in Linlithgow.
Fire crews tackled a blaze in a West Lothian restaurant, prompting a road closure.
The fire at the Livingroom at Livingston's in Linlithgow High Street started at around 9am on Friday.
The street was closed off while two crews brought the fire under control.
It is believed to have started in a washing machine or tumble driver in the utility area, with smoke spilling out on to the street.
A spokeswoman for the fire service said firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze quickly before ventilating the premises.
