Man charged after 'hit-and-run' which left pedestrian injured
A 31-year-old man has been charged with traffic offences following the incident in Edinburgh.
A man has been charged following an alleged hit-and-run which left an elderly pedestrian seriously injured.
The incident took place on Abercromby Place in Edinburgh's New Town on Monday, December 5.
A 73-year-old man was left seriously injured and was taken to hospital.
On Sunday, Police Scotland said a 31-year-old man had been charged with traffic offences in connection with the incident.
A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal and he is expected to appear in court at a later date.
