A former cemetery worker has appeared in court accused of mis-selling burial plots at an Edinburgh graveyard.
William Henderson, of Loanhead, Midlothian, faces 11 charges of fraud and two of forming a fraudulent scheme in relation to the selling of burial plots at Mount Vernon Cemetery in Liberton.
It is understood the allegations date back to a period in the mid-1990s.
At Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday, the 45-year-old appeared in private before Sheriff Norman McFadyen.
He made no plea of declaration and was released on bail.
