Drivers face disruption after eight-car crash on city bypass
No one was injured in the incident on the A720 shortly before 2pm on Friday.
Eight cars have been involved in a crash on Edinburgh's city bypass, prompting major tailbacks back to the M8.
The incident took place between the Dreghorn and Baberton junctions of the A720 shortly before 2pm on Friday.
All eight vehicles were travelling eastbound when they collided.
Traffic was reduced to one lane while police dealt with the incident, which was cleared at 2.30pm.
No one was injured but motorists are being warned the crash will cause knock-on disruption.
Queues were reported to have been backed up to junction 1 of the M8.
