Teenager charged after man seriously injured in hit-and-run

A teenager has been charged in connection with a hit-and-run in Edinburgh.
The 41-year-old man suffered serious leg injuries after he was struck by a car in Oxgangs on Monday, October 3.
The driver is then alleged to have abandoned the Renault Clio and fled after the incident on Oxgangs Gardens.
Police confirmed an 18-year-old man is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Police in Edinburgh have charged an 18-year-old man after a 41-year-old man sustained serious leg injuries in Oxgangs Gardens on Monday, October 3.
"He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday, October 11."
