Dealer caught with £500,000 of drugs during police raid
Calum McIntosh was said to be a 'significant part' of the supply chain in Fife.
A drug dealer has been jailed after police found £500,000 of illegal substances at his house.
Calum McIntosh was caught with heroin, cocaine, amphetamine, diazepam and cannabis when officers searched the property in Glenbervie Grove, Dunfermline.
The 25-year-old pleaded guilty to drug supply charges at the High Court in Edinburgh in September and was sentenced to four years in prison on Thursday.
Police welcomed the sentence, claiming McIntosh was a major figure in the Fife drug supply chain.
Detective inspector David Wright from the east organised crime and counter-terrorism unit said: "During an intelligence-led operation focused on the supply of controlled drugs within the Fife area it became clear that McIntosh played a significant part in the drug supply chain.
"Acting on vital information from the public we were able to target McIntosh and gather evidence, which demonstrated his involvement and ultimately led to his guilty plea last month."
