Two 13-year-olds charged over hate crime attack in Edinburgh

Two 13-year-old boys have been charged after a teenage boy was attacked in a suspected hate crime in west Edinburgh.
The victim, who is also 13, was taken to hospital after the incident in the East Craigs area.
A probe is ongoing into a social media post alleged to be connected to the assault on September 13.
A police spokesman said: "Police in Edinburgh investigated an assault in the East Craigs area, which took place on Tuesday September 13.
"A 13-year-old boy attended the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary with minor injuries.
"Two boys, both aged 13, were subsequently charged in connection with this."
The pair have since been reported to the Children's Reporter.
The spokesman added: "Officers remain committed to thoroughly investigating any and all reports of hate crime."
