Body found of diabetes sufferer who went missing in Borders
Hawick man Bob Cantle was not thought to have medication with him when he disappeared on July 28.
The body of a man who disappeared without his diabetes medication has been found in the Borders.
Bob Cantle was last seen getting into his car in Hawick town centre on July 28.
Police launched a search for the 45-year-old, who had Type 1 diabetes, and was thought to have set off without his prescription. .
Officers said a man's body was discovered on Friday in outbuildings in Crailing near Jedburgh.
Police said the man's family had been informed ahead of a formal identification.
A police spokesman said: "Enquiries into the full set of circumstances are ongoing and the death is not being treated as suspicious at this time. "
