Concerns growing for Edinburgh woman missing since Monday
Police say they are keen to trace Elizabeth Armour, or Hughes, as quickly as possible.
Police have made a renewed appeal in the search for a woman missing from Edinburgh.
Elizabeth Armour, who also goes by the surname Hughes, was reported missing to police on Monday, April 22, and officers are increasingly concerned for her welfare.
Ms Armour, 41, is known to frequent homeless hostels and food banks and police are asking anyone who recognises her to come forward.
She has links throughout Scotland, particularly in Bonnyrigg, Midlothian, and Aberdeen, as well as in Ballymena in Northern Ireland.
Sergeant David Hughes, of Gayfield police station, said: "It has been several days since anyone saw or spoke to Elizabeth so we are keen to trace her as quickly as possible.
"Although she is from Edinburgh and knows the city well we are keeping an open mind to the possibility that she has travelled elsewhere in Scotland or to Northern Ireland.
"I would urge anyone who has seen or who has information that might assist with our ongoing investigation to contact police on 101 quoting the incident number 1358 of April 25.
"I also appeal to Elizabeth to please let us know that you are OK if you see this appeal."
