Funeral disrupted after men start fighting during service
Police called to Portobello Cemetery in Edinburgh after row between the pair.
Two men were injured during a disturbance at a funeral in Edinburgh.
Police officers were called to Portobello Cemetery in East Milton Road after the pair began arguing with each other, disrupting the service.
The incident happened some time between 2pm and 3.30pm on Friday, April 22.
Both men are believed to have suffered various injuries as a result of the incident and police are appealing for witnesses to aid their inquiries.
Detective chief inspector Kenny Gray said: "This incident caused great distress to those who were paying their respects to lost loved ones and we will not tolerate such inappropriate behaviour.
"We believe that many mourners within the cemetery will have seen what happened and will be able to provide information that can help with our investigation.
"Those individuals are asked to contact police immediately."
Police are asking anyone with any information or who knows the individuals involved to contact either Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
