Man injured following 'massive gas explosion' at flat
Police and firefighters were called to the scene in Broxburn on Friday night.
A man has been injured following a suspected gas explosion at a flat in West Lothian.
Emergency Services were called to the scene at Greendykes Road, Broxburn, at around 10.30pm on Friday.
One witness told STV News there had been a "massive explosion".
"The windows were lying at least 10ft from the flat and it was very badly damaged," he said.
One man required hospital treatment following the incident.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Police in West Lothian were called to Greendykes Road, Broxburn, at around 10.30pm on Friday 1 April following a report of a gas explosion.
"A 20-year-old man was taken to St John's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, and enquiries are ongoing."
