The former executive wing at the RBS headquarters in Edinburgh is being reopened as an enterprise centre for entrepreneurs.

It was used by former chief executive Fred Goodwin and could only be accessed by senior staff at the Gogarburn site.

RBS hopes the new hub will "create an ecosystem of entrepreneurship and innovation".

It will provide a home for a free Entrepreneurial Spark centre and business support organisations such as Business Gateway and the Princes Trust.

First Minister Nicola Sturgeon and current RBS chief executive Ross McEwan will open the centre on Friday.
