Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger took a sightseeing bike tour around Edinburgh on Thursday morning after arriving in the city the day before.

During his first ever visit to Scotland, the A-lister decided to head out to the streets of the capital on his bike to enjoy the historic sights.

When asked where he was heading, he said: "I have no idea, but it doesn't really matter where you head to in Edinburgh because it is apparently beautiful wherever you look."

He arrived in Edinburgh on Wednesday for a VIP meet and greet experience with fans. Tickets for the event were pricey with some fans paying up to £1500 for a place.
