Concerns are growing over the wellbeing of a man after he was reported missing from his Aberdeen home.

Liam Philpott, 25, was last seen around 4.30pm on Friday in the Matrick area of the city.

Officers said Mr Philpott's disappearance is out of character and there is concern for his wellbeing.

He is described as white 5ft 10in with short brown hair and stocky build.

He was last seen wearing a black coloured hooded top, work trousers and boots.

It is believed that Liam currently had use of his black coloured Volkswagen Golf and may be in either the Aberdeen City or South Deeside area.
