A person is fighting for their life after a crash involving a motorbike near a ski centre.

Emergency services were called to the three-vehicle collision on the A93 in Aberdeenshire on Sunday.

The road has been shut between the snow gates at Braemar and the Spittal of Glenshee Ski Centre.

Officers said the closure will be in place "until further notice" following the crash.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "We are in attendance at a serious crash.

"The road will be closed for some time while we deal with the incident."
