As Scotland basks in heat of up to 31C, people across the country have been out enjoying the sunshine, blue skies and beautiful views.
In the Highlands locals flocked to Loch Morlich beach for a surf and a sunbathe.
Among the revellers was a small dog who was pictured taking a dip in the water to cool down with children playing nearby.

The surf was up for those enjoying the sun under bright blue skies.
Sunseekers were also flocking to Gourock outdoor swimming pool in Renfrewshire.
