A woman has been raped near a golf course.

The 23-year-old was attacked at the Promenade in Leven, Fife, at 10pm on Thursday.

Forensic officers have cordoned off an area near Leven Links Golf Course.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Detectives are currently following a positive line of inquiry in connection with this."
