Drivers have been warned of icy roads as a drop in temperatures overnight bring wintry conditions to Scotland.
The met office has warned that journeys by car, bike and foot may take longer than normal and there is an increased risk of injuries or accidents.
A yellow weather warning is in place for much of the country including Glasgow and the west, the South West, Lothian and Borders, Central Tayside and Fife and Grampian.
Forecasters say on high ground there could be 3cm of snow in places.
But the main hazards are likely to come from rain falling on frozen ground and causing ice.
The yellow warning for ice is in place untill 11am in most places.
