Search for vulnerable missing man last seen on Friday
Lee Gibb has limited funds but is known to use his bus pass to travel the country.
An appeal has been launched to help find a vulnerable missing man who was last seen in Edinburgh two days ago.
Lee Gibb, who has learning difficulties, was last seen in Watson Crescent, Polwarth at around 4pm on Friday.
Since then, the 43-year-old has not returned to his home in Craigmillar and concern is growing for his welfare.
Lee has limited money but has a bus pass which he was previously used to travel throughout the country.
Officers are therefore keen to establish his whereabouts as soon as possible.
Anyone who believes they have seen him is asked to come forward.
Lee is described as white, 6ft tall with a slim build, short dark hair and wearing a black coat, black trousers and black boots.
Sergeant Mark Willie from Craigmillar Police Station said: "While Lee has limited access to money, he has a bus pass, which he has previously used to travel outside of Edinburgh.
"With that in mind, we would ask members of the public throughout the country to keep a look out for Lee and contact us immediately if they see him, particularly around bus stations.
"In addition, we would ask Lee to get in touch if he sees this appeal so we can ensure he is safe."
Those with information can contact Craigmillar Police Station via 101.
