A Flybe flight has declared a mid-air emergency on its way to Scotland.

The alarm was raised on the Belfast to Inverness service on Friday.

It is understood problems with the plane's landing gear forced it to circulate to burn fuel.

The flight later made an emergency landing at Belfast International Airport.

The runway has been closed and the fire service has been called.
