Scots sports journalist reported missing in Manchester
Kevin McCarra was last seen at the Whitworth Art Gallery on Sunday afternoon.
A Scottish sports journalist has been reported missing in Manchester.
Kevin McCarra, 59, was last seen on Sunday at the Whitworth Art Gallery near Manchester University at around 2.30pm.
Mr McCarra is originally from Glasgow and is known for his work as the former chief football correspondent for The Guardian newspaper.
He previously also worked at Scotland on Sunday.
Mr McCarra is 5ft 10in, of slim build, with thin greying hair. He speaks with a Glaswegian accent.
He was last seen wearing navy trousers, an orange jumper, purple trainers and a light cream and blue jacket.
Detective constable Tom Munnery said: "Kevin's wife and family are becoming increasingly concerned for him as he's been missing for over 24 hours now.
"Please take a good look at the photo of Kevin and get in touch with police if you have any information at all."
