Woman, 22, sexually assaulted in early morning attack
The 22-year-old victim was sexually assaulted at around 3.30am on Sunday morning.
A 22-year-old woman has been sexually assaulted in Aberdeen.
The victim was walking near to The Green, off Union Street at around 3.30am on Sunday when the attack took place.
Police officers investigating the incident say they are following a positive line of enquiry and have appealed for anyone with any information to come forward.
The woman was uninjured in the incident.
Detective Inspector Stewart Drummond said: "Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are following a positive line of enquiry.
"I would also ask anyone who was in the area of The Green or Union Street between 3am and 4am to come forward. "
