A search has been launched for two teenage girls who have been reported missing in Edinburgh.

Bethany Bate and Belle Love, who are both 15, were last seen in the south of the city on Thursday evening.

Bethany is thought to left a house near Gracemount Drive at around 8pm.

Belle was last seen in Colinton Mains Drive around 9.15pm the same day.

Police believe the girls are together and have appealed for anyone who knows where they are to come forward.

Bethany may be wearing a hoodie and is carrying an imitation tartan Louis Vuitton bag.

Belle was wearing a bright orange jacket and a green and grey hoodie.

Anyone with information has been asked to contact Howdenhall Police Station via 101, quoting reference number 4183 of October 26.
