Elderly man with dementia drives away from his home
Police believe 87-year-old Bob Cassie from Mintlaw in Aberdeenshire may be confused.
An 87-year-old man with dementia has vanished from his home in Aberdeenshire.
Bob Cassie was last seen at the house on Brae Crescent, Mintlaw, at 2am on Monday.
He is believed to have driven away in his car in the early hours of the morning.
Police Scotland described the pensioner's disappearance as "out of character" and said he may be confused.
Mr Cassie is 5ft 9in tall, with a medium build and balding, grey hair. He may be wearing a navy coat and trousers
His car, a blue MG ZR, has the registration SK04 EPT.
Sergeant Andy Sawers said: "It is out of character for Bob to not be in touch with his family and we are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare."
