A person has been struck by a train in Glasgow.

British Transport Police (BTP) were called to Maryhill at around 11.30am on Monday.

The person, whose condition is unknown, is being treated by paramedics at the scene.

Services between Glasgow Queen Street and Anniesland have been disrupted, as well as those between Glasgow Queen Street and Fort William/Mallaig/Oban.

ScotRail tweeted that they are "working closely with the emergency services".

A spokeswoman for the BTP said: "We were called at 11.26am and we're on scene at the moment along with paramedics."
