Major search operation as diver goes missing from boat
The coastguard received a radio call from a vessel in the Scapa Flow off Orkney on Friday.
A search and rescue operation is under way for a diver off the coast of Orkney.
The coastguard received a radio call from a dive boat near Cava Lighthouse in the Scapa Flow shortly before 4pm and was deployed just before 4.30pm.
It reported one of the divers was 15 minutes overdue.
Stromness and Kirkwall Coastguard Rescue Teams, Longhope RNLI Lifeboat and the UK Coastguard search-and-rescue helicopter based at Sumburgh are currently searching the area.
A Mayday relay broadcast has been issued by the Coastguard to all vessels in the area to join the search.
This is an ongoing search and rescue operation for the diver.
